AspirSpray is by far the fastest acting and most effective
topical pain reliever available. It relieves pain by
the same mechanism as ingested nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory
drugs such as aspirin, ibuprofen and naprosyn. AspirSpray
safely delivers soothing pain relief quickly without
the time delay of oral medications and the gastrointestinal
discomfort of ingested pain relievers which may cause
ulcers, digestive tract bleeding as well as possible
kidney damage. The pain relief formula goes straight
to the source of the pain with AspirSpray.
AspirSpray is a topical liquid which relieves localized
pain using a hydro-alcoholic formulation of Trolamine
Salicylate in an Aloe Vera base. The product allows the
Trolamine Salicylate to penetrate the application site
and immediately begin to provide pain relief that lasts
for hours. Aloe aids in the absorption of Trolamine Salicylate
and softens the surface tissue.
Trolamine Salicylate when applied increases the levels
of salicylate in the tendons, cartilage, ligaments and
joint cavities but not in the bloodstream. By the higher
concentrations being in these areas the rate of drug
metabolism is reduced significantly and the duration
and degree of pain relief is greater and longer.
AspirSpray is an analgesic. It acts by inhibiting the
action which causes stress (contractions of cells and
vessel dilation) thus reducing pain and swelling. It
is not a counter irritant like the majority of topical
pain relievers.
Conversely, counter irritants create a different feeling
by cooling or heating which mask the actual pain sensation.
Heating (methyl salicylate and capsaicin) can increase
the blood flow to the area being treated which can increase
the problems in a painful area by increasing fluid and
swelling conditions. These products can also cause blisters
and burning of the tissue if used when the body is in
a heated condition. Cooling agents (menthol, camphor,
etc.) have poor analgesic properties. They are very volatile
and dissipate rapidly.
Patient response to the use of AspirSpray for relief
of arthritis pain, muscular aches and strains and joint
pain have been universally positive. Patients that use
AspirSpray find they are able to use it on a continuing
basis due to the lack of side effects and its effectiveness
at the recommended dosage level.
